Eagletech Tiger Compound Bow

The Eagletech Tiger Compound Bow rivals the complexity of the Ranger-X Bow with twin forward counterweights, an arm brace, and a built-in scope mount. A self bow without the pulleys found on a Ranger-X, the Eagletech Tiger is still available up to 80lbs draw weight.

The twin counterweights and the forearm brace on the Tiger aid in steadying the bow giving the user a -1 bonus to all attack rolls.

Ranger-X Compound Bow

A state-of-the-art design utilizing advanced polymers, the Ranger-X bow can propel arrows further and with less recoil and vibration than any other bow in its weight class. The bow is designed to be used with Ranger-X precision arrows which are constructed from the same lightweight, low-flex polymer material for greater accuracy over longer ranges.

The bow comes with a strength rating starting at 2 and up. Characters with a strength less than the strength rating of the bow cannot draw the bow to fire it.

The explosive bolts do 6M damage, with -2/0.25 m blast and reduce the range to Hold-Out. Setting up the weapon takes one complex action. Switching detonation on the explosive bolts takes a simple action.

This one of a kind crossbow was developed by the international arms dealer Char Yojihiromata (head of the AUTUMN BLADE organization) and his chief technician Ran Tojima for the notorious French thief known only as Arrow. The ultimate hand crossbow it uses state of the art technology. Self loading, it uses high tension memory metal springs to make it self cocking as well. After the bow is fired the spring is activated recocking the weapon. When not in use, push the top lever forward and the arms of the bow fold down to the sides, making the weapom concealable underneath a trench coat. It comes with a special harness which doubles as either a shoulder holster or belt rig. Extremely silent, this weapon cannot be heard from more than ten feet away without audio enhancement.

The new technology doesn't end there either. It also makes use of specially designed explosive bolts for when stealth is no longer an option. Instead of using explosive heads the bolts themselves are filled with C-6, the metal in the bolts is very light to compensate for the extra weight. A small switch on the shaft allows you to choose between detonation on impact or 1 second after, depending on what the situation calls for. These bolts are detailed in the table below. The Raven can also use any standard hand crossbow bolt.

A unique arm-mounted crossbow, the Huntress utilizes a wound spring coil in addition to the metal bow to lend the same power to their tiny wrist-mounted crossbow as in a normal pistol crossbow with a more fluid movement and continuous acceleration of the bolt along the length of the weapon. A lever disengages the springs from the hinged front posts of the bows, allowing them to be folded back and hiding the entire device beneath the wearer's sleeve. A hand crank cocks the string back for firing, and can be replaced with a powerful electric motor for an additional 200 nĄ

It takes a complex action to set up and break down the forearm crossbow for use. When stowed, the concealability of the weapon is 10, when deployed the conceal drops to 6.

A truly massive heavy crossbow, the Omega heavy crossbow is a 1400 lb composite bow that fires at a range up to 550 meters. The Omega crossbow is so massive that instead of relying upon a hand-cranked winch, it uses a high powered low-geared electric winch to wind back the bow. While this reduces the rate of fire drastically, the bow has the power of a small artillery piece, able to punch through automobiles with ease.

The Omega comes standard with an adjustable shoulder shock pad, adjustable cheek rest, a forward adjustable bipod and grip, and a Rating 3 Magnification scope on an adjustable picatinny rail sight mount suspended over the crossbow string.

It takes a complex action to reload the Omega Heavy Crossbow, a simple action to ready and a simple action to fire. The bolts are larger and heavier than standard crossbow bolts, but come in all the same varieties. Each shot has a +2 recoil that is compensated by the shock pad and forward grip.
