A commonly used carrier or trans-Pacific flights between the Far East and North America which
is no longer the latest version of the suborbital class and a mainstay of many fleets. The China
Clipper is the most recent version of a line whose roots stretch back to the old Space Shuttle
used by the US in the last century.

The General Dynamics SV250 looks more like a rocket than a plane and follows a parabolic-arc flight path in
order to reach its destination. The SV250 can be augmented with booster rockets and external fuel
tanks for true orbital insertion and serves a dual role as long-range passenger transport and ground-to-space workhorse.

A relatively recent development, semiballistic aircraft takeoff and land like normal aircraft, but at a safe distance fire
rocket motors to launch themselves in parabolic arcs throwing them outside of much of the earth's atmosphere. They
then descend along their ballistic arc before gliding in for a soft landing.
The Grande Concorde is used largely in the corporate sector, though pricey commercial tickets are available to those
who can afford them. As the joint product of hte French aircraft manufactuerer and Europe's industrial powerhouse,
the Grande COncorde is an indication of Lofwyr's newfound interest in space.

Dropships operate in reverse from most shuttles, in that they are deployed from orbit, re-enentering the atmosphere and using as little
fuel as possible to brake and land. Then using jet turbines to ascend to high altitude before firing off rocket boosters to take them
back up to orbit. The UD-4 is a versatile dropship and tactical transport emplyed in a primary role in the UCAS Colonial Marine Corps.
Derived from an orignial Derpartment of Defense requirement formulated at the end of the Tientsin conflict, the UD-4 has evolved into
the definitive dropship design.
The UD-4 utilizes a dual-powerplant system consisting of a pair of General Dynamics TF-900 variable-cycle turbines for VTOL and atmospheric
flight, and a pair of TF-220/A-14 Ramrockets for high-altitude, transatmospheric operation in the supersonic to hypersonic regimes. The UD-4
is built around a box-like external cargo mount usually outfitted for an APC for quick deployment of elite squads of Ares Firewatch or UCAS
Marines.

fuel as possible to brake and land. Then using jet turbines to ascend to high altitude before firing off rocket boosters to take them
back up to orbit. The Navaho is a lighter, cheaper derivative of the Cheyanne, which disposes of cargo carrying capacity but retains
the missile payload.
Like the UD-4, the UD-22C utilizes a dual-powerplant system consisting of a pair of General Dynamics TF-800c variable-cycle turbines
for VTOL and atmospheric flight, and a single TF-220/A-16 Ramrocket for high-altitude, transatmospheric operation in the supersonic to
hypersonic regimes. The UD-22C provides fire support for Cheyannes, with the ability to engage both orbital, atmospheric and ground
targets with their missile payload. Navaho gunships are equipped with an Ares Firelance Vehicle laser in the nose, with a 270 degree
optical turret, and 8 anti-vehicular multi-role missiles. Rotary launch 70mm Zeus rockets are stowed inside the stubby wings, deploying
to provide rapid-fire, armor-piercing bite.
