Ares is the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world, with a solid base composed of bought-out
subsidiaries General Motors (Buick, Cadillac & Pontiac), General Dynamics, and NASA in the US.
Other lesser known subsidiaries include GMC, AC Delco, Powertrain, the Russian hovercraft
manufactuerer - Mostrans, and aircraft engine manufactuerers Pratt & Whitney. Ares only major
competitor is the european conglomerate Saeder-Krupp, but it's extensive aerospace and space
assets place Ares Macrotechnology firmly in 'pole position'.
Headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, UCAS, it is the seventh largest corporation in the world and
the largest in the UCAS, lending it many UCAS defense contracts. Its five main divisions are
AresSpace, Ares Global Entertainment, Ares Arms, Knight Errant Security Services, and General Motors.
AresSpace has launch facilities at Cape Canaveral in Florida, Edwards Base, China Lake Test Range, and Inyokern Test Range in CFS, Wallops Island in Virginia, UCAS, and the Alaskan Spaceport on Kodiak Island in the Athabascan Council. Orbital facilities include Apollo, Icarus, Daedalus, Artemis, and Helios.
For more information on the corporate structure of Ares Macrotechnology, please refer to the SixthWorld Wiki.

Ares and Militech know that the cops are frequently outnumbered and outclassed in the Sprawl. That's why
they've teamed up to create the Enforcer - a troll-sized large Anthroform package designed especially for the
Police and Security community. With streetgangs and organized crime upping the ante in armaments all the
time, the Enforcer package is well armored, capable of withstanding almost any small arms fire. A small
radio-thermal chamber utilizes the decay of nuclear waste material to power the drone, recycling elements
from nuclear power plants and giving the drone an extended endurance time.

A stationary Sentry Gun system, the Defender is a step up from the Ares Arms Sentry Gun.
Massive and no longer portable, the Defenders can be setup by a building crew in about a
day to defend fixed positions. Each defender stands about 6 meters tall and can fire over
most walls. Their turrets have 360 degree rapid rotation as well as two 180 degree vertical
traverse and 30 degree depression heavy weapons mounts.
Standard armament for these drones are a pair of Ares Vindicator Miniguns. Their sensor suite
includes milimeter radar & infrared and they are driven by advanced pilot systems equipped
with Sharpshooter autosofts giving them the capability to even shoot down cruise missiles.
An impressive 10 CF is alloted each weapon for ammunition, which makes it unlikely that an
opponent would see one of these towers run out of ammunition.

The original Sentry Gun System by Ares spawned the entire classification of Sentry Guns.
Multiple updates have been launched of this venerable and widespread stationary drone.
Small enough to be man-portable in two loads, the Sentry Gun is a force multiplier that can
be set up to guard perimeters, laid as part of an ambush, or deployed to cover a retreating
force.

Ares transports massive amounts of cargo around the world and required a frigate capable
of protecting its commercial assets. After an internal study demonstrated that the two
greatest threats to convoys were from submarines & T-birds, the Liberator-Class hydrofoil
Frigates were commissioned. Liberators high speed enable them to chase after submarines
& T-birds alike with ease, and when supported on their hydrofoils are much harder targets
for submarine torpedoes. The mostly missile battery of the Liberators are guided to targets
by a sophisticated sensor array.

The Citymaster urban riot-control vehicle functions as a mobile command post, and forms
the standard frame for Ares' Master series of Medium Transports. The Citymaster comes
fully outfitted with Gas Enviroseal, 20 man-hours of Life support & a small turret.
The Ares Mobmaster has extended life-support and heavier armor for the worst in gang
warfare & strike-breaking.
The Roadmaster is Ares basic model in the Master series. Roadmasters are easily obtainable,
and easily modified, making them favorites among runners and riggers.
Docwagon's use of a Citymaster variant gave Ares a huge sales boost due to Docwagon's
reputation for choosing the best vehicles on the market. DocWagon outfits the Citimaster
with the supplies necessary to turn it into a mobile field hospital, as well as a pair of
light machine guns to protect patients & crew.

Ares Morningstar is a hunter-killer LAV designed by Ares to compete with "tank-killer" helos &
ground-attack aircraft. The Morningstar relies heavily on missile armaments, using guns only for
self-defense against helicopters and troops.
The Morningstar is powered by two powerful Pratt & Witney turbines and takes advantage of WIG
(Wing-In-Ground effect) for forward flight close to the ground. A remote micro-turret beneath
the nose mounts a heavy machinegun for close-range anti-personel support, and a crew-manned
medium turret in the back mounts a pair of Bofors 9mm high-deflection anti-air guns. The
Morningstar's primary armament is mounted on 8 external mounts beneath the wings and directed
by a sensor MAST just behind the pilot's compartment.
