Nothing stands in the way of getting a job done worse than not having the people you need, so it was decided to create this posting here on Shadowland so that independents could put together the talent they needed for a job without having to go through their fixers or Johnsons.

The first column next to each individual's name contains hyperlinks to their email and other methods of address. Next to this are symbols indicating what rules were used in creating the character (2nd edition, 3rd edition, web/house rules). Below that are the minimum salary, availability, and a rating by their peers of the player and character experience.

The second column contains a streetname/primary alias of the individual and a hyperlink to their dossier. The third column consists of the players description of their character in a short (less than 50 word) paragraph. Finally, the fourth column is reserved for another short description of the character-- this time by a peer, fixer, or Johnson.

Guidlines for Submission

First, Download and edit the sample character dossier. Using notepad or a similar text editor, fill out your characters streetname and other aliases. Include a short physical description of the character and any other pertinent information that would be on a corporate dossier. Notable skills (specialties of the character) and a list of the languages the character knows should be listed under the relevent catagories. A description of the character's preferred style of shadowrunning (modus operendi) and what makes the character distinctive falls under the modus operendi.

If you have the character detailed on a webpage, send the address of the full character sheet. This is intended for prospective GMs to look over the character, Johnsons and other runners would only know the character's dossier if that. If you do not have a complete character sheet available on the web, you can attach sheet as a text file. Please specify if the character was created using 2nd or 3rd edition rules.

Finally, include your email address, ICQ# or AOL Instant Messager nick, and a short paragraph (50 words or less) describing your character to a prospective Johnson and email the entire package to ancalagon@geocities.com
