Without each other they'd likely both have perished over there, so a debt of friendship remains between the two of them. Zenith helps him from time to time with repairs to his new truck. She's developed an apparent fixation on the russian merc and takes every opportunity to throw herself at him, to his dismay. She exclaims enthusiastically over every piece of de-humanizing and exotic cyber he has as if over a sexual fetish. <br> </p> <p> <b>Friday (Weapons Specialist, Level 1 Contact)</a></b><br> Macavity's Ork weapons specialist, Friday's quietly competent and capable. She can fix most of Vox's gear and weaponry and he trusts her to watch over the others for him whenever he's not around. <br> </p> <p> <img src="syn2.jpg" border=0 align=right width=180> <b><a href="syn.html">Syn (Decker, Level 1 Contact)</a></b><br> Syn is like that enthusiastic younger sister that likes to get into trouble, but she's got that little sister loyalty too. Vox trusts her abilities in the Matrix, having seen what she can do there, and has been patched up more than once by her in the thick of things. [Sarah]<br> </p> <p> <b>Jennifer Campbell (Wolf Shaman & Heiress, Level 1 Contact)</b><br> Vox and his team switched allegiances in the middle of a run to save the life of this college student and heiress. His kindness afterwards hasn't been forgotten either, so she still looks favorably upon Vox despite his appearances. </p> <br><br> </td> </tr> </table> <h2>Background</h2> <p> Vitaly is an ex-Spetznatz Raptor from Vladivostok. Vox stumbled into the attempt on Zenith's life in Vladivostok and ended up saving her life. When Zenith fled the city for Seattle, she brought the russian merc in tow with her. He in turn helped them find a transport to Seattle. The transport happened to be carrying a Snakehead metahuman cargo of orks & trolls. The two of them managed to escape, overpower the guards, and seize control of the ship. When they arrived in Seattle, Zenith got in touch with Macavity, who met the two of them outside of Seattle and helped set them up and funnel the majority of the orks & trolls into the Seattle Ork Underground. A small group opted instead to join the Cascades Orks, and were led up to the small villages in the mountains by Minx. </p> <p> Vox kept in touch with the orks & trolls who were newly arrived, and when he noticed that several of them had gone missing, he started investigating what was going on. The other residents of the Ork Underground had not noticed because the newcomers kept to themselves and spoke mostly Russian. Vox's search led him to the underground fight clubs being sponsored by Humanis, and he went back to Macavity. Macavity agreed to help him free his countrymen, in return for a future favor.
