Description: Terrence is slightly built. His thin shoulders are slightly pinched together.
He has long thin fingers and small delicate looking hands. Nothing about him indicates any street-worthy form of
masculine power, though he carries himself with a quiet unassuming confidence that makes it clear he is comfortable with
his lack of physical power.
His unblemished skin has a light tint to it, showing his mixed Japanese and English heritage, and his hair is so
dark brown that it appears black in most but the whitest light. He has a straight, thin nose, deep-set eyes and a
short, pointed chin that make him corporate-clothing-catalog handsome - inoffensive, multi-ethnic, clean-cut and
almost forgettable. What sets him aside from the catalog cutouts are his hazel eyes, flecked with gold and
luminously catlike.

Background
Terrence was born in a floating city built around a long abandoned oil platform, off the coast of Japan. The platform, city
and boats lashed to and orbiting it were owned by a powerful Yakuza clan that used the entire structure as a base for
manufacturing all sorts of illicit contraband. Terrence's childhood was one of exploring dank, creaking, swaying hidden places
where despair was distilled into depraved simsense, freakish fantasies were indulged far from inquiring authorities and chemicals
were cooked down to feed far-off addictions. As a young child, Terrence learned that for someone to prosper, many must suffer.
"There is no sense in feeling revulsion because of the suffering of others, it was just the way of the world."
Terrence's father was heading up security for a floating drug factory, where his mother was the head chemist. He always had
someone stronger, a yakuza heavy of some sort, watching over him so never needed to develop any physical defenses. When Terrence was not 'sneaking' off to
see the seediest underbelly of the floating world (he realized that he never truly escaped his father's security detail), he was
provided luxury due his parents' station. He was schooled privately, taught a variety of languages and allowed to observe all
but the most private of business dealings involving the floating factory's production. Terrence was always fascinated by 'the
quiet arts' of intimidation, negotiation and control. His natural mental abilities and photographic memory meant instructing
him was easy. His parents petitioned for a private tutor from their Yakuza employers, and were granted one. His tutor
quickly found that Terrence could remember anything he had seen. Soon, his flickering spirit, edging towards awakening,
became apparent.
"I believe I was eleven when I met Tokuza-sensei. By fourteen I was
actively using my talents to give the clan an upper hand in their dealings. Who would bother checking the child studying
quietly in the next room? I made grown men, killers, con-men, murderers, bend to my will."
