BACKGROUND

Minx grew up on the streets of Los Angelos with her SINless parents. She was always a bright child, stifled by her surroundings. Like most children growing up with no real hope of a better life, she took to the streets and eventually joined one of the many street gangs that competed over turf in the city of angels. Her above average intelligence kept her from dying, unlike many of the others in the gangs. And eventually she left the hell hole of Los Angelos and set out north following the Cascades, eventually reaching Seattle.

As she grew older, she began to notice that she could see and do things that others couldn't. With her intelligence, she eventually found out that she had magical abilities. Unfortunately, her sporadic studying and lack of a formal trainer in the arts, has left her abilities a conglomeration of a normal magician's power and a physical adepts. When she was first developing her magical abilities, as a test to see if she really was a magician, she tried to conjour an elemental. In her ignorance, and lack of practice, the conjouring knocked her out, and the Elemental left. When she awoke, Minx decided to try again. This time she was successful in conjouring a fire elemental. She often talks to the elemental about anything and everything, treating it more like a friend then a servant, unlike many other modern day mages. Also due to her spotty magical training, she's developed a reliance on a talisman (geas).

Since she was young, she always had dreams of getting out of the world that she's stuck in. Her plans are to use her magic to get out of the streets, and perhaps once she has enough money and a fool proof SIN, she has a dream of moving to the Tir, to start her life over with.
