Jennifer was a senior at the University of Seattle as well as an up and coming shadowrunner, in it mostly for the thrill. When she discovered her uncle was conducting magical experiments upon her, she fled. She convinced the runners sent to find her and bring her back to help her instead, and the runners killed her uncle. Shortly after, she had her uncle's Bellvue mansion demolished and is currently living in a luxury apartment in downtown Seattle, close to the university.

Jennifer has extensive contacts among the shapeshifters in the Seattle area, and hangs out with many of those shifters at the downtown bar, Fenris Nacht. Her mentor -- Perrin, a troll shaman of Wolf -- also can be found here whenever he's not ranging the Cascades.
