Character Creation

New characters are to be created using the points based system with 130 Build Points. The links in the Building Points Table below will give players additional options and modified point values for the game I run.

Neither Otaku nor shapeshifters may spend any Building Points to gain Resources. They start with a max of 5,000 nuyen. Spell Points may be used in place of Karma Points in order to begin the game as an initiate, to summon and maintain an ally spirit and so on. Shapeshifters & HMHVV Infected may not purchase cyberware, Ghoul characters may do so, but must pay twice the Essence Cost.

If the player chooses, I have a life-track system available to aid the player in building the character and coming up with skills & so forth for the character here. Life Track is a system devised for R. Tsalorian Cyberpunk 2020 which guides a character through every year of their life up till the current date. It's a bit more structured and less flexible than the existing Shadowrun system, but can be useful in that it presents a list of options for a player to choose from.
